Three Powerful Engines
With the Ford Transit 350 comes three engine options, each with powerful performance to help make the van both dependable and smooth to drive.
- 3.7L Ti-VCT V6: This is the standard engine found in the Transit 350. It delivers 275 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
- 3.5L EcoBoost® V6: This available engine will deliver the maximum output for the Transit 350 with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
- 3.2L I5 Diesel: This available diesel engine generates 185 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
Each of these engines is also paired with the six-speed automatic SelectShift® transmission with overdrive. And when properly equipped, the Ford Transit 350 can tow up to 7,500 pounds.
Staying Safe in the Transit 350
The Transit 350 also has technologies that are designed to keep you safe while you are out on the roads. The rearview camera will display a live feed of what is directly behind you on your rearview mirror when you are in reverse.
This will allow you to make sure your path is clear without turning your head. It also features Trailer Hitch Assist to help you back up while you are towing.
The Ford Transit 350 also has the available Lane Keeping Alert that will warn you when the system detects you are starting to drift outside of your lane. This also includes the available Driver Alert feature that will sense if your drifting is due to tiredness and will signal both visual and audio alerts.
