Ford Escape Trim Levels
The 2019 Ford Escape is a roomy compact SUV with room for the family and all of your important cargo. With some modifications made for the 2019 model year, it’s a great idea to take a closer look at the various trim levels offered for Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Ankeny drivers.
The Charles Gabus Ford sales team is going in-depth with the four available Escape trims to help you determine which one is the best fit for your lifestyle. Contact us today for more information.
The base edition of the Ford Escape comes with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces 168 horsepower. This engine is mated to the 6-speed SelectShift® transmission, which for the driver means enjoying the amenities of an automatic with the feel of a manual.
The comfortable cloth seating welcomes drivers and passengers. The 6-way manual driver’s seat and 4-way manual front-passenger seat allow you to set up the front seats the way you want. You’ll have plenty of space to store all your important items in the Escape, with 34 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the second row, and up to 68 cu. ft. with the seats folded down.
The SYNC® infotainment system comes standard with a 4.2-inch LCD screen in the center stack area, along with a smart-charging USB port. When putting the Escape in reverse, the standard rearview camera will automatically display on the screen. This helps you see what’s going on behind the vehicle when backing up.
Inside the Ford Escape SE trim, the 10-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar and recline makes every drive more comfortable, while the dual-zone automatic temperature control gives the driver and front passenger the ability to set the temperature to their liking. The 1.5-liter EcoBoost® engine, which is highly efficient, produces 179 horsepower.
The FordPass Connect™ with Wi-Fi Hotspot can help you remotely access vehicle features and start the car, lock it, and unlock it, all without being near it.
Meanwhile, the larger 8-inch LCD touchscreen comes standard in the center stack, with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. Link up a compatible smartphone to the center stack for easy access to text messages, music, and more.
The interior of the Escape receives an upgrade thanks to the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, while the LED signature lighting, which replaces the standard daytime running lamps, brightens up the road ahead.
The standard power liftgate is a nice feature to have, too, giving you the ability to load items into the cargo area without having to put them down. The heated sideview mirrors also come standard, which are handy when winter weather strikes.
The top-of-the-line Ford Escape, the Titanium, comes with a 10-way power front-passenger seat, ensuring both the driver and front passenger are able to enjoy the drive. You’ll feel in control thanks to the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, too, which produces 245 horsepower, handling the highways and byways with grace and smoothness.
The Enhanced Active Park Assist technology is nice to have, particularly when parallel parking. Receive guidance and ace that park job every single time.
Have some towing to do? The 2.0-liter EcoBoost® Class II Trailer Tow Package is optional on this trim and this trim only, providing you with a Class II hitch receiver and the ability to tow up to 3,500 lbs.
